Presented as part of Onay Pl., LOOK BACK is an interdisciplinary collaboration between garment design and video art, rooted in Chang's camera-based visual language.

The piece continues the artist's series of installations that misalign screens and live feeds to explore the uncanny experience of seeing one's digital self. People like to be their own audience.

LOOK BACK draws viewers into a disorienting loop of self-perception. Only by crouching can they see their face being tracked and encounter their own body from behind, from outside, and from within the installation all at once. In this displacement, one's own image becomes unfamiliar, exploring how digital imagery can govern the physical body's movement.
